'Toukiden 2' Will Be Released In North America & Europe In Spring 2017
Switchy SamKoei Tecmo has announced that the highly anticipated hack-and-slash game "Toukiden 2" will be released in North America and Europe in spring 2017. The game "Toukiden 2" was already rolled out in Japan for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation Vita platforms in 2016.
Koei Tecmo wowed the fans with the amazing "Toukiden." The game revolves around people fending off the demons that emerged from portals from the Hell. The duty of the "Mononofu," the team that vanquishes these monsters and demons, is to protect people from attacks. Many unfortunate events happened and people moved on to their lives. These are what made players love this game because of its Japanese history and slice-of-life themes put together.
According to Siliconera, "Toukiden 2" will be bringing the elements from older series. Of course, as a new game, there will be new characters in the game. As far as the gameplay is concerned, "Toukiden 2" boasts a vast and extensive open world full of danger and takes the gamer deep into enemy territory. The game follows an entirely new Slayer who joins with a number of companions to defeat Oni. Notably, slayers will battle it out with Oni in an Otherworld divided into the Ages of Yore, Grace, Honor, War, Peace, and Chaos. Each age represents an era of Japanese history.
Koei Tecmo is yet to confirm which platforms "Toukiden 2" will release on in North America and Europe when it gets rolls out in spring 2017.
