'Outlast 2' Fans Can Breathe Easy With The Game Being DRM-Free; Horror Fans Look Forward To The First-Person Mastepiece

As the horror genre as a whole offers a lot of promise for 2017, "Outlast 2" is a title that could compete against the others soon enough. One confirmation about the first-person masterpiece is that it will be DRM-free as soon as it comes out.
According to GOG.com, "Outlast 2" players will not have to worry about the DRM or Digital Management Rights for the game, one which the previous also donned. Given that the title is to be made available to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and the PC, fans have one thing less to mind. Being DRM-free also enables gamers to play the title without the need to be online. The player can simply download the game upon purchase and it will be free of the developer or publisher's requirements.
The story behind "Outlast 2" focuses on Blake Langermann, a cameraman who works with his wife Lynn on an investigative mission. Being fully-committed risk-taking journalists in search of stories that many have turned down, the two find themselves tracking a series of clues that lead to the paradoxical murder of a pregnant woman with the label of "Jane Doe." In doing so, the couple end up at a desert in Arizona wherea lot of peculiar, unpleasant sights come forth to torment them to their deaths.
Developed by Red Barrels Games, "Outlast 2" still does not have a designated launch date so far. However, the game has been confirmed to be released within 2017. The voices of Shawn Baichoo (Blake Langermann) and Erika Rosenbaum (Lynn Langermann) give life to the two protagonists in the series.
