"Prison Break" Season 5 actors, Dominic Purcell and Wentworth Miller, will be reprising their roles as on-screen brothers. They had met on the set of The CW's "The Flash" and started to reminisce about the old days, which includes their participation in the internationally famous drama.

"We were back on set talking about old times," Miller told the media during this year's Television Critics Association winter press tour panel, according to IGN. "Out of that conversation came the possibility of revisiting 'Prison Break.'"

Fans of "Prison Break" have seen the death of Michael Scofield right before their very eyes at the end of the show's last season. However, show creator Paul Scheuring has revealed that he was inspired by Homer's Odyssey.

In this myth, Odysseus suffered through hell and travelled across half the globe just to get home. "That is what I wanted to do with Michael," Scheuring told Entertainment Weekly. Apparently, "Prison Break" is not merely about getting Miller's character out from behind bars. More emphasis is stressed on how Michael traverses half the globe - coming from the Middle East - "to get back to his wife and the son he has not seen before."

The dark twist of the series is figuring out whether or not he is the same Michael that was portrayed in earlier seasons of "Prison Break." "Who is this guy?" Scheuring added. "Was he the Michael that we knew all along?" Determining if Michael is "compromised" is going to be "one of the central things that runs through the course" of "Prison Break" Season 5.

Although he has a storyline in mind for "Prison Break" Season 5, Scheuring was worried that not all members of the main cast would be able to return. After all, through the years, the cast has moved on to other projects.

Fortunately for fans, Miller, Purcell, and other members of the "Prison Break" Season 5 cast were able to join Scheuring's upcoming project. Joining the on-screen brothers - who also star alongside each other in "The Flash" - are Robert Knepper, Sarah Wayne Callies, and Rockmond Dunbar.
