While it is unlikely that fans will be treated to any concrete information about "Half-Life 3", Valve Boss Gabe Newell does at least agree to host a Reddit AMA today, January 17. It is possible that Newell will finally speak about the game's status and confirm what Valve has been doing for the past years.

According to Gamespot, Valve is a giant to PC gamers and the PC game industry. The Reddit AMA will begin at 3PM PT / 6PM ET on Reddit. "Half-Life" fans will sure gather at the said AMA and flood Valve GM with questions about the FPS game.

The publication reports that this isn't the first time Gabe Newell did a Reddit AMA. The Valve boss once held a Reddit event at March 2014, where he revealed his favorite non-Valve game, the $1 million charity donation, and how the Valve GM never thought of leaving the company.

Once and for all, the Reddit AMA will finally set the record straight whether Valve will soon release "Half-Life 3" or not. The game has been a source of many rumors and speculations online for years and fans finally get to hear it from the boss himself tomorrow.

Express UK reports that one of the surrounding rumors of the game is that "Half-Life 3" will come with VR support. When a recent update on "DOTA 2" has revealed game codes for the FPS game that reads "HLVR", which basically means "Half-Life" VR.

Fans have been hoping that this leaked information has been released as hints from Valve. However, there has been no confirmation or comment about the leaked info.

Further, there has been some talks of a possible "Left 4 Dead 3" that is rumored to be released in 2017. The news outlet also added that all four characters have already been given names. The only female in the group will be named Katherine and three other male characters; the gangster Irvin, the nerd Keenan, and the famous Kenpo fighter Garrett Jr.
