Vivo V5 Plus News: Selfie Buffs Will Rejoice At Vivo’s Latest Dual Front Phone Cam; Price, Availability & Specs
CJ EstimadaVivo has been exceptionally generous in making high-quality smartphones ever since its introduction in the market. Vivo V5 Plus is one such smartphone that delivers great performance, particularly an excellent front-facing camera. If taking selfies is the deal, this is probably the best one to consider. With not one but two distinct camera lenses lodged on the front of the V5 Plus, selfies might be better than ever.
Camera, Display & Storage
The Vivo V5 Plus packs a 20-megapixel image sensor on the front, and right alongside it is an additional 8-megapixel sensor. The smaller sensor captures depth information around the scene, letting it create shallow depth-of-field effects with the face. According to CNet, similar effects are already seen from the iPhone 7's portrait mode, but that uses the rear camera only. The front camera could capture artfully focused selfies that look like they were taken on a DSLR.
The Vivo V5 Plus exhibits a 5.5-inch full HD IPS LCD display a resolution of 1,080 x 1,920 pixels, that results from a density of 401 pixels per inch. The multi-touch screen comes with Corning Gorilla Glass protection.
The V5 Plus is fitted with a detection autofocus, LED flash, ISO control, High Dynamic Range mode that helps in processing images of 4,128 x 3,096 pixels resolution. This turns out to be the best option to the pleasure of all of the selfie obsessives and those who thrive on video calling. Moreover, the smartphone comes with an internal storage of 32GB, which is expandable up to 256GB with a microSD.
Key Features, Specs, Price & Availability
The V5 Plus dons a 3,300 mAh li-polymer non-removable battery, which claims to render a long battery life and a quick charge feature. Runs on 2GHz Octa-core, weighs 156.6 grams, 3.5mm jack headphones, as mentioned in Gadgets360.
Available in crown gold and gray and design that looks remarkably like an iPhone. Price starts at around Rs. 17,680 or about $260.
