Samsung May Have Just Confirmed A Rumored Samsung Galaxy S8 Feature
JPThe biggest leak of the soon to be released Samsung Galaxy S8 may have come from the most unexpected source, Samsung itself. In a video posted by Samsung Display to promote its new AMOLED display, an unknown smartphone is seen featuring the new AMOLED screens.
The appearance of the unknown smartphone has led pundits to believe that the featured phone could be the highly anticipated Samsung Galaxy S8. The smartphone featured in the AMOLED Samsung display video has no physical Home Button which seems to confirm earlier rumors about the Samsung Galaxy S8 features.
Twitter user DforDesign has recently posted an image of two screens which he alleges to be that of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S8. Though the posted image may not closely resemble the one featured in the Samsung display video, both screens do not have a physical home button.
Według mojego dostawcy szkieł S8 nie będzie miał wersji flat O.o Ma być S8 i S8 Plus. Do tej pory się nie mylił… pic.twitter.com/sExMoISPY4

The physical home button has been a staple feature for Samsung smartphones, the current flagship smartphones of Samsung, the Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 edge still feature the physical home button. It can be remembered that a Samsung smartphone without a physical home button has already been rumored before the launch of the S7 and S7 Edge.
The alleged accidental leak from Samsung may just confirm that the tech and gadget community will be seeing a Samsung smartphone minus the physical home button this year. Removing the physical home button is said to be one more step to creating a true bezel-less smartphone. A technology that has been explored by the smartphone maker with the introduction of their Samsung Edge smartphones.
Without the physical home button, the Samsung Galaxy S8 will have more screen space to feature the HD resolution of Samsung's AMOLED display technology. The unknown smartphone featured in the Samsung Display video may or may not be the Samsung Galaxy S8 but the smartphone seem to have all the features that the upcoming S8 unit is rumored to have.
