"Path of Exile" is an action role-playing (PG) game that was released for the PC in 2013. Now, the game is headed to the Xbox One in 2017.

According to Eurogamer, "Path of Exile," an RPG by developer Grinding Gear Games, will be available for the Xbox One later in 2017. The RPG will also be a free-to-play title for the Xbox One, just like it is for the PC. The Xbox One version of the game will also come with all the PC version's content and the "upcoming 3.0.0 expansion" which comes with Act Five.

Players on the Xbox One will have their own realm separate from the realm for the PC version of "Path of Exile." The separate realms were set up because of "small gameplay differences" between the two versions.

These differences include the maximum number of Flask slots and skill targeting. However, Grinding Game Gears assured players that they will stick to the "same content and league release schedule" for the PC and Xbox One versions of the RPG.

Chris Wilson, co-founder of Grinding Gear Games, is proud to bring "Path of Exile" to the Xbox One. He said, "For three years, PC players have enjoyed Path of Exile's visceral combat, deep character customization and addictive item hunt." Wilson added, "We have spent over a year adapting Path of Exile specifically to the Xbox One, creating an experience equivalent to playing with mouse and keyboard on PC."

In an article for Xbox Wire, Wilson also revealed details about the upcoming Xbox One port of "Path of Exile." He shared that the game is "a modern twist on the traditional isometric Action RPG (ARPG)," and that the game is "played on a persistent online realm where players conquer foes and hunt for rare items together. As your wealth grows, you can trade your items to build the ultimate character."
