‘Injustice 2’ Update: Warner Brother Confirms Playable Villain Characters In The Game, Including Bane & Poison Ivy
Gloven Ramos"Injustice 2" is on its way, and before its launching date, two more playable villains are added to the gameplay. Poison Ivy and Bane will both be playable in the DC Comics based video game.
Previously, Poison Ivy and Bane have both appeared in the latest video trailer, but without clear information if they are playable in the game. Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, however, confirmed that these villains are both playable in "Injustice 2."
According to WWG, in addition to Poison Ivy and Bane, the new "Injustice 2" trailer revealed that fans can look forward to Darkseid as a pre-order bonus. In the mobile version of "Injustice: Gods Among Us," this super-villain was playable, but in console gaming, this will be his debut.
Another addition to "Injustice 2" is Damian Wayne, who has made a return as Robin. Some found it strange considering Wayne showed up in the first game as the Nightwing, and he looked a bit younger in the new trailer as well. As cited by the Comic Book report, Damian Wayne as Robin is also confirmed as a playable character in the game.
"Injustice 2" is scheduled to be released on May 16, 2017 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One console. Similar to "Injustice: Gods Among Us," the game's previous installment, a mobile version will also be developed for both iOS and Android devices.
