'ARK: Survival Evolved' Tek Tier Delayed; Patch v254 Update to be Revealed on January 30!
Rommel"ARK: Survival Evolved" is due for an update and many fans are looking forward to the much-awaited Tek Tier update. However, it seems that the developers of the game have postponed it, but assures gamers that the features are under way and they will absolutely love the improvements done to the game via this update.
In its November announcement, "ARK: Survival Evolved" developers wowed the crowd with the arrival of the Tek Tier update which will be rolled out for PC, Xbox One and PS4 this year. According to reports, the scheduled release is January 20th but one of the developers named, Jat, announced on the official Steam page for the game that Patch v254 which consists of the Tek Tier update will be launched at a later date.
In their statement, they said that the delay of the "ARK: Survival Evolved" Tek Tier update will be delayed and will happen on January 30. He also said that they are as excited as much as the players are. The said patch 254 is definitely huge so it needs more time to be tested and the QA process must be polished before releasing it to the public. According to Jat, the game will be enjoyed with new content soon and an extra-special feature for the patch will surely satisfy the players of the game.
According to reports, issues hounded the game that developers have been experiencing for the previous consoles. Early access to the game was released in December 2015 for Xbox One and December 2016 for PlayStation 4. Both have been catching up to the PC build. PlayStation 4 has only synced with it just last week via Patch v253. Blue screen issues have been haunting players time and time again.
Here are some of the confirmed specs and features of the new patch for "ARK: Survival Evolved": New Mechanic: Hairstyles & Facial Hair (with real-time growing), Hair Dyeing, & Haircutting + Scissors; Tek Tier Phase 1: Tek Engram system, Element Resource system, Tek Replicator, Tek Rifle, Tek Helmet, Tek Visor, Tek Jetpack, Tek Boots, Tek Gloves, Tek Rex Saddle, Tek Transmitter, and more. New Dino: Ovis Aries, Thylacoleo, Basilosaurus, Baryonyx, Purlovia, Microraptor, Ammonite, Lance. There are also new admin command logs & chat logs file output options and Troodon Scout now has an option to look for Corpses & Caches.
Aside from these, tamed Dinos now have an option to disable their resource-harvesting and users can now hold left or right when dismounting a Dino will now dismount you in that direction. Scorched earth loot drop quality has been increased significantly and five more players are added. Full release of the game for the PC, Xbox One, and PS4 is still slated for April.
