‘Grand Theft Auto 6’ Updates: Rockstar Games Begins Working On ‘GTA’ Sequel, Results To Fewer DLCs For GTA Online
Blair GrantRockstar Games has reportedly begun working on "GTA 6," the most awaited sequel since the release of "Grand Theft Auto 5" in 2013. While this is definitely a good news to players, this seems to affect the developer's resources, which could lead to fewer DLCs for "GTA 5 Online."
"Grand Theft Auto 6" is finally coming to fruition, as Express reports that a trusted source claims that Rockstar Games has divided its team into four. A user named Yan2295, who has been known for sharing updates on "GTA Online," explained that there will be fewer DLCs for the online mode because of the team division.
"Some people are helping San Diego with RDR2, some people started working on the next GTA, and some people are working on another game," he wrote.
This means that if the source's claims are true, Rockstar Games has already begun working on "GTA 6." This has been one of the most highly anticipated sequels since the release of its predecessor in 2013.
Of course, Rockstar Games is currently prioritizing the release of "Red Dead Redemption 2," as PC Advisor notes that the company has already confirmed its upcoming release. There have also been countless rumors as to what "Grand Theft Auto 6" may feature in terms of gameplay.
For example, some "GTA 6" news suggest on the availability of a first-person mode since this was recently added as an option in "GTA 5." There are also reports that the new "Grand Theft Auto" game may feature a female protagonist in an attempt to ease out complaints about its depiction of women.
"GTA 6" updates also show that the game may be set in San Andreas, with the possibility of moving to cities from the previous games. According to the outlet, Rockstar North head Leslie Benzies shared that it has always been their dream to allow players to fly from one location to another.
