Until now, there still is little confusion about the Nintendo Switch's capabilities and functionality. One particular aspect of such is how sports games be played on the gaming console. There are notable sports-related game titles coming to the Switch but Nintendo should have given a brief idea on how it can be played.

According to NSEAVoice, sport games such as "NBA 2K18." 2K Games already made it clear that the said game title will debut on the gaming console soon. The game developers also stated that "NBA 2K18" will use the console's unique features to bring the best sports gaming experience yet.

Other than that, EA also is interested in working with Nintendo. In a report from TechnoBuffalo, the game develop talked about bringing "FIFA 2K18" to the Switch.

EA executive vice president Patrick Soderlund spoke with Japanese gaming magazine, Famitsu. Soderlund stated that EA's structure lets the developers release to any kind of games to any platform.

The VP believes that Nintendo Switch will put the Japanese in the gaming industry's forefront once again. Soderlund added that Nintendo's approach if different from anything the company has done in the past.

Patrick Soderlund further stated that Nintendo has listened to EA, Activision, and other companies since the beginning of the console's development. "EA has been involved throughout the entire process and teaming up with the company is important to us," stated Soderlund.

Clearly, the Japanese company EA is a big game developer in the gaming industry that can be flexible in expanding its range to make profit. If Nintendo got EA to work with them, then maybe, Nintendo can stand a chance in keeping EA interested in the gaming platform.

The Nintendo Switch promotes a one-of-a-kind feature in its arsenal, much like the Wii U. The console's controllers or Joy-Cons works extremely well with sports title such as Boxing, Golf, and Tennis.

With the Switch's high interactivity and offers from well-known third-party game developers, perhaps, the console can offer a different experience in playing triple A sports games.
