The Nintendo Switch is a handheld or portable console and at the same time can also connect to TV for bigger screen play. Unlike the other platforms, in Nintendo Switch, you can play the same Minecraft world, both on big TV screen and on the go, whenever you like it.
"Minecraft" game is using different edition for different platforms, such as the Pocket Edition, Wii U, and the PS Vita edition, making it impossible to play your saved world game to a different platform. Like when you're playing a specific world on PC, you can't play the same world on your phone, for example, whenever you're not home or on travel.
In "Minecraft" Nintendo Switch edition, you can play your "Minecraft" world on your TV screen and continue in even you are on the go using the same console. You won't have to play different world on the home and outside your home. According to iDigital Times report, with the Nintendo Switch, playing Minecraft on your television and as a handheld is totally natural, it is the key feature of the system, after all.
"Minecraft" had been out for years since November 2011 and occupy different gaming platforms using different editions. The game sold millions of copies since 2011, making it one of the most successful game in this generation.
For the Nintendo Switch edition, the company has not yet released any details, even the releasing schedule, regarding the development of the "Minecraft" new console edition. On Nintendo's official site, they just described the gameplay without revealing any development information.
