'Pokémon GO' Update: Mewto, Mew & Other Mythics Might Be Out Soon With Legendary Pokémon
Ceage SottoHere's a dose of good news for the millions of "Pokemon GO" players around the world. Data miners have unveiled an interesting source code for version 0.53.1 about Legendary and Mythic Pokemon.
It's unlikely that "Pokemon Go" enthusiasts would be having Mew and Mewtwo in the next update. But, the codes reveal that Niantic is serious about unleashing Legendary and Mythic Pokemon characters.
The data-mined source code has at least 6 MB worth of codes, hidden among those are three distinct codes referring to Pokemon classes. The data mined info contained three codes that would suggest a future appearance of Legendary and Mythic Pokemon characters.
The three codes are the following Pokemon_Class_Normal, Pokemon_Class_Legendary, Pokemon_Class_Mythic. The inclusion of the code in Android's "Pokemon GO" 0.53.1 version suggest that they may be out soon. If you are wondering if Niantic is keen on making players catch Legendary Pokemon, a Catch_Legend_Pokemon code was also seen in the data mined info.
Last year, news broke out of players claiming that they have captured Mythic Pokemon. A guy named Jason from Australia claimed that he caught Mewtwo, while Corey Selby allegedly caught Mew.
The captured Mythic Pokemon was later found out to be fake and Niantic has since clarified that the company has not released Mythic and Legendary Pokemon yet. The release date for the said Pokemon characters have not yet been revealed by the company.
The data-mined codes might revive interest for the mobile Pokemon game. Since the launch players have now opted to the game due repetitive gameplay issues. It's most likely that the Mythic and Legendary Pokemon might be unveiled in the next "Pokemon GO" event.
Next week a new "Pokemon Go" update is going to be happening. Version 0.53.2 will be available to many of the game's players. The incoming update includes compatibility string for the recent South Korean launch of the game.
