'Elder Scroll V: Skyrim' Special Edition With 'Skyrim' Mod Support Coming To Nintendo Switch
Julianne"Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim" has been released six years ago. Since then, Bethesda has been making new strategies for gamers to repurchase the game on the new-gen consoles.
One way of achieving this was the developers' efforts to improve the graphics and compiled all of the game's expansion pack in one bundle. Another was bringing PC mods to the console versions of the RPG, making it a revolutionary feature.
For some time now, Nintendo fans have known that "Skyrim" will be headed to the Nintendo Switch. However, a release date of the game for the console hasn't been confirmed yet.
But the real question Nintendo fans have in their minds is what version of the game will run for the console. According to Gaming Target, Canadian Best Buy site suggests that Nintendo Switch is likely to have the "Skyrim Special Edition."
The Canadian Best Buy site at one point listed the description of the game. The description confirms that Switch will allow for mod support of the game, even calling the support "PC-like."
The listing also confirms the visual upgrades made for "Skyrim Special Edition", including volumetric god rays, dynamic depth of field and screen-space reflections. In a report by GameRant, Nintendo fans may be excited to try out the mods for the hybrid gaming console in March but the feature may have some serious limitations.
For one, the Switch only has a 32GB memory slot in it. If gamers wants to take advantage of the Skyrim Special Edition" mods, then gamers will have to purchase a new memory card. The console can hold up to 2TB of micro SDXC cards, thus making room for more space.
Bear in mind that "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" holds up half of the Switch's entire memory. So, gamers are highly likely needing to buy a new memory card.
