FIFA fans are on edge to see which players EA Sports have selected for the Winter Upgrades. No official list has been released but the Ultimate Team UK Website has some pretty plausible predictions.

The latest Career mode updates also hint at Premiere League players slated for the boost, such as Diego Costa and Dele Alli. Meanwhile, FIFA 17 patch 1.06 has officially been released for PS4 and Xbox One consoles, bringing with it some stability fixes and addressing a disconnection bug.

Winter Upgrades Prediction. According to Express, the Ultimate Team UK website has made two huge predictions regarding the FIFA 17 Winter Update. The first is that they're likely to have a February release date. The second is that they're likely to launch in four separate batches, every Friday of the month.

The upgraded players will receive boosted stats in line with consistently excellent real-world performances. Players include Diego Costa with a stat upgrade from 85 to 86, as with Philippe Coutinho. Liverpool forward Roberto Firmino goes from 82 to 83, but some fans feel that he should go as high as 84.

Other names for the FIFA 17 Winter Upgrades are Adam Lallana, Dele Alli, Jermaine Defoe and Eden Hazard. Players can view the full list at the Ultimate Team UK website.

Patch 1.06 Goes Live, PC Fans Report Issues. Meanwhile, the new FIFA 17 update brings the game up to version 1.06 and it's just been rolled out for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles. It's a remarkably light update, reports Just Push Start, with a file size of about 430MB on PS4 and 769MB for Xbox One.

The update is set to address the minor bug that causes the game to disconnect every time a substitute happens and give general stability fixes to FUT and other online game modes. However, that PC gamers have mentioned quite a few issues with the current 1.06 patch.

Some fans have reported what appears to be a bug, causing the ball to hit the post more often than usual. Others note that their goalkeepers seem to be slightly boosted while the defenders are now off-balance and "awkward." One player in particular said the speed was noticeably reduced.

No word yet on whether or not EA plans to address these issues but people are hopeful that a newer FIFA 17 update can address these minor glitches. They're also waiting for the full patch notes to be revealed as well as an official confirmed list for the FIFA 17 Winter Upgrades.
