New George RR Martin Story To Be Released On Oct. 10, Rumored To Be About The Targaryens
New Story Of George RR Martin Included In "Book of Swords".
JPAuthor, George RR Martin will be releasing a new story this year. This has been confirmed by a listing on Amazon which was discovered by "Game of Thrones" and "A Song of Ice and Fire" fandom site, Watchers of the Wall. However, the book listed is not the "Winds of Winter" but the "Books of Swords"
George RR Martin has written on his LiveJournal that he thinks his highly anticipated "Winds of Winter" will be released this 2017 bringing hopes to avid fans of the "A Song of Ice and Fire" series.
However, the author's prediction came with a warning. Martin stated he also thought the same last year.
Though there is still no confirmation yet as to when the "Winds of Winter" will be released, "Game of Thrones" fans can take the console to a new George RR Martin story that is confirmed to be released this year.
"The Book of Swords" is confirmed to hit the bookshelves Oct. 10, 2017. The description on Amazon states that the book contains new story set in the "Game of Thrones" world.
Amazon's listing of the book states that it will contain fifteen stories commemorating the golden age of sword and sorcery. The listing also indicates that Gardner Dozois will be the editor of the "Book of Swords"
"A Song of Fire and Ice" fans believe that the new collection will not be another "Tale of Dunk and Egg". Reports suggest that the new story will be an excerpt from "Fire and Blood".
"Fire and Blood" is the next book that GRRM will be working on after the "A Song of Ice and Fire". The book is said to feature the Targaryen's history.
The "Book of Swords" will be released on Oct.10, 2017. The book cost $21.66 on Kindle while a hardcover is pegged at $22.80.
