'Mass Effect: Andromeda' Will Give Limited Options To Customize Characters
Hemal VoraPlayers who like to fully customize the appearance of their characters will be facing some limitations in the "Mass Effect Andromeda." According to recent reports, players should finalize the appearance of their Ryder at the initial creation process itself. This is because they may not get a chance to alter how the characters look after the first creation.
Take Initial Character Creation Carefully
General Manager of BioWare, Aaryn Flynn responded to fans on his Twitter account that it may not be possible for gamers to customize the protagonist again and again in "Mass Effect: Andromeda." This implies that gamers have to work on the character creation more seriously in the beginning so that they don't feel stuck with what they have chosen for their character throughout the game, as reported by Windows Central.
Re-Customization Of Beards And Hairstyles Not allowed
Also, recent reports reveal that "Mass Effect: Andromeda" will not include any sort of dynamic beard growth for the male characters, instead players can choose from the range of non-changing hairstyles and beard of different colors and styles while building their unique looking protagonist of the game. While the good news is that players still get to customize the appearance of their lead character, they can do it only at the beginning of the game and cannot alter it after the start.
BioWare May Bring Re-Customization In Later Updates
It is notable that when a similar idea was implemented for "Dragon Age: Inquisition" and then changed to allow re-customization of character in the later updates due to player requests. However, looks like this will not be the same in the case of "Mass Effect: Andromeda" as the developer feels that such re-customization will not be required in the game after the initial creation process, as reported by Gamerant.
Also, if BioWare were to bring re-customization in the later updates like the "Dragon Age: Inquisition," it is certainly not happening anytime sooner. Hence, players have to be happy with their chosen hairstyle and beard for their characters for quite a while or forever. "Mass Effect: Andromeda" will be launched on the PS4, XBOX, and PCs on March 21, 2017.
