LG G6 vs Nokia 6: Match-up of Design and Specs; Which Is Better?
Louise BonquinLG G6 is set to be unveiled at the Mobile World Congress (MWC), which will take place from Feb. 27 to March 2 in Barcelona. On the other hand, Nokia 6 has been announced in December 2016 but only in China.
The Nokia 6 is the first 2017 Android phone made by Nokia and it is hoped that this unit will put the company's name back to the mainstream mobile market. Although this is only available in China right now, it will come together with other Nokia Android phones to the MWC 2017.
As for the exact release date for LG G6, ET News reported that it will officially be out in market on March 10, following the announcement at the upcoming MWC. However, the Korean news source added that just like what it did last year, LG will make its announcement a day before the mobile conference event, so it means that the company is revealing LG G6 on Feb. 26.
With the impending introduction of these two new mobile units, gadget lovers are curious to know which is better between the two. For this, below is a match-up of LG G6 vs. Nokia 6.
Design
Nokia 6 has a similar built as Apple's iPhone 6 for it comes in an all-metal body. As for LG G6, Korean site UnderKG claimed that it has obtained a leaked actual image of the unit. Also, it shows that it has a combination of glass and metal body. Judging by the outer appearance, it seems that LG's unit will be better than Nokia's.
Screen Display
There is a bit of difference between LG G6 vs. Nokia when it comes to display. The LG G6 features a 5.7-inch OLED screen with support for 2840 x 1440 resolution, which is called the QHD display. Its screen-to-body ratio is said to be about 90 percent.
Nokia 6 will come with 5.5-inch screen and full HD IPS display. Screen resolution will only be 1920 × 1080 pixels.
Processor
Nokia 6 has Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 430 chipset with Octa-core 1400 MHz processor while LG G6 will have the Qualcomm Snapdragon 621 and powered by Quad-core 2350 MHz processor.
Camera, Storage, Battery
LG G6 was said to arrive with 21MP rear camera and 5MP on the front. Nokia 6 will have lower count of 16MP at the back and 8MP front for good selfie shots. Both will feature the Phase Detection AutoFocus technology.
LG G6 and Nokia 6 sports the same 4 GB RAM but the former have bigger internal storage, which is 128 GB. The latter only have 64 GB of internal storage but can be expanded with 128 GB microSD.
Finally, for the LG G6 vs. Nokia 6 battery match up, LG wins. Nokia gets 3,000 mAh and LG G6 have 3,200 mAh built-in battery.
