Guerilla Games' upcoming offering "Horizon: Zero Dawn" has been getting a lot of positive notes on its amazing visuals. However, the game has much more than what meets the eye.

Only a select few had the chance to play "Horizon: Zero Dawn" in advance and the game won't get to fans' hands until February 28. However, those who had the privilege did have positive review of "Horizon." What truly marked was how the game did not just focus on its visuals and gameplay; Guerilla Games also took the story seriously.

"Horizon: Zero Dawn" is set on a world after a calamity that hugely changed the world. It follows a young woman named Aloy, part of a pre-industrial tribe of people trying to survive in a world where they aren't the dominant species.

As fans already know, "Horizon: Zero Dawn" is filled with robot dinosaurs. Aloy will find herself fighting these creatures and even some humans along the way.

Art Director Jan-Bart van Bleek originally envisioned the main elements of "Horizon," such as a rebooted world, tribal societies and robot dinosaurs. Soon, lead writer John Gonzalez joined the team. It was then his job to piece a story that made sense with what van Bleek had imagined.

"That [concept] was a big part of why I came on board," Gonzalez said. "It was that they actually posed this mystery of how this world would come about that I felt like I had to get to the bottom of. I wanted to, like, come up with the answers myself."

Apart from the engaging storytelling of the open-world  "Horizon: Zero Dawn," there are other features gamers will enjoy. One of these is photo mode, as reported by GameSpot. Developer Guerilla Games has confirmed its existence and even posted a few photos taken with the in-game feature.

Based on what the developers has shared, it seems like players could take specialty pictures, like what seemed as a portrait picture of Aloy. Of course, actions happening during the game could also be captured and easily shared. However, Guerilla Games hasn't yet talked about the feature and merely has mentioned its existence.
