Samsung Galaxy S8 And S8 Plus: Leaked Images Surface Online [VIDEO]; Galaxy S8 One-Minute Video Teaser Debut Likely At MWC 2017!
Vinay PatelDespite confirming its presence at this year's MWC (Mobile World Congress), Samsung is breaking a long reigning trend seen with the company's Galaxy flagship devices such as the Galaxy S8.
The South Korean tech firm is gearing up to unveil its recently leaked Tab S3 tablet on Feb. 26 in Barcelona and the long-rumored Galaxy S8 flagship smartphone at an Unpacked event scheduled to take place on March 29. Citing the excitement surrounding the upcoming Galaxy devices and also to give Galaxy fans at MWC 2017 something to cheer about, Samsung will be sharing a one-minute teaser video of the Galaxy S8 at its MWC event.
To further hype the frenzy surrounding the Galaxy S8, Korea Herald reported that the company will take the center stage at MWC to give smartphone lovers a brief glimpse of the highly anticipated smartphone in the form of a teaser video.
The Samsung Galaxy S8 has been subject to all sorts of leaks and rumors about its release date, specifications, price and design but these speculations surrounding the Galaxy S8 that are currently running rampant online are expected to be debunked with the release of the first official teaser for the smartphone.
The Galaxy S8's photos have surfaced online on quite a few occasions allowing smartphones lovers to take a gander at the jaw-dropping design of the imminent Galaxy flagship smartphone from all angles. Furthermore, if rumors proved to be true, the device will be up for grabs in a couple of sizes i.e. 5.8-inch model and 6.2-inch model.
Both iterations of the Galaxy S8 are said to sport a dual-edge curved display. Rumors are also rife about Samsung's decision to get rid of Galaxy S8's Home Button. If latest reports are anything to go by, this may actually come to fruition. Moreover, there will be a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and a dedicated button for the company's own AI assistant known as Bixby, which is said to work with native applications as well.
The all new Snapdragon 835 SoC will be firing up the Galaxy S8 smartphone, which is rumored to come either bearing 4GB or 6GB of RAM. There's also hearsay that some Galaxy S8 models will be powered by the in-house Exynos SoC but these variants will only be launched in selected countries. The device will boast 64GB of internal storage; however, other reports also hint at a 128GB variant.
The Galaxy S8 models will pack 3250mAh battery and 3750mAh battery respectively. The larger variant of the Galaxy S8 will sport a dual camera setup. Both the iterations of the Galaxy S8 are expected to hit the store shelves by April 21.
Meanwhile, the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus have been spotted online in Korea in the form of leaked images giving tech buffs a peek at the general design and even dimensions of the devices, Android Headlines reported.
According to the leaked info, the renders have been created by Matt Kim, who claims he had an opportunity to see the real Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus smartphones and the leaked renders are based on what he saw.
