‘Game Of Thrones’ Kit Harington Revealed He Doesn’t Want To Be Typecast In Heroic Roles
Cris Xander JulianoKit Harington has been well known because of his role as Jon Snow in the critically acclaimed HBO series "Game of Thrones." However, the actor revealed that he doesn't want to be typecast in heroic roles, instead, he wants to try other roles according to a report by Winter is Coming.
Jon Snow's character is admired by many for his bravery and honor, but Harington explained that being known for just specific reasons will lead to typecasting which he plans to avoid. He revealed that he wanted to try other roles like comedy, but not romantic comedy as he claimed he is not a romantic person.
Apparently, Harington already tried his luck in comedy by starring in the HBO Sports mockumentary "7 Days in Hell" with Andy Samberg in 2015. Harington played a character named Charles Poole.
In addition, Harington is currently filming the seventh season of "Game of Thrones." He shared what it was like being on set with everybody in the production. He explained that when people are together with that long period of time, bonding is made with each other.
During idle times in production, Harington revealed that board games are being brought out along with instruments. Harington plays the percussion, but did not go into any detail. He added that he plays the board game "Risk" during production- it's a game about conquering countries, pretty much like "Game of Thrones."
