"This is Us" Season 1 continues to leave fans tuned in to every episode, but it looks like viewers will have a lot more to look forward to in the upcoming episodes. In a recent interview with series creator Dan Fogelman, the showrunner teased that there will heavy and dark moments ahead, as the show prepares to reveal the reason behind Jack's death.

"This is Us" Season 1 spoilers reveal that fans should brace themselves for dark and heavy moments ahead. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, series creator Dan Fogelman teased that the end of the season will explain how Jack died - whether it was from an illness, accident, or something else.

Fogelman shared that the rest of the episodes for "This is Us" Season 1 will be "heavy, and it's not just heavy on an emotional level." The series creator further teased that there will be dark moments ahead because they want to mirror exactly what happens in real life.

"I just wrote the finale today and... it's a doozy," he said.

The mystery's behind Jack's death continued to keep fans guessing in "This is Us" Season 1. This also led to speculations that Jack may leave for good once the show unveils the reason behind his death, but Milo Ventimiglia reassured viewers that he will be around for a while.

Justin Hartley also expressed his views with TVGuide.com on his character, Kevin. As most fans can recall, Kevin chose Sophie, his first wife, instead of being with Olivia or Sloane.

Hartley said that he is happy to see the progress that his character has made in "This is Us" Season 1. While his growth may be a bit slow, Hartley was optimistic that this will enable Kevin to become a better person.
