It's been a while since Ubisoft released an update or teaser for the upcoming 'South Park: The Fractured But Whole', but the official consensus is that it'll come out in the first quarter of this year. Given that its original release date was slated for December 6 last year, the likelihood of an early 2017 launch is highly plausible. The official Ubisoft page states it will be available Spring 2017, but that leaves us with roughly a four-month window of waiting and wondering.

March 30, 2017? According to an early January article written by iTech Post, 'South Park: The Fractured But Whole' is confirmed for a March 30 arrival this year. As it hits both parameters, being in Spring 2017 and in the first quarter of the year, this release date seems pretty solid.

The Bit Bag names April as a potential release month, but considering there's just a few days' difference, the case for end of March is looking pretty good. And since Ubisoft initially assumed the game would be ready by December 2016, a March release gives them just enough time to finish up what they originally couldn't within their own deadline. Unfortunately, with no official word from the company, the date remains unconfirmed.

The Fractured But Whole Features. 'South Park: The Fractured But Whole' will be released on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC platforms. Ubisoft's Game Info page offers a wealth of information about the game itself, including an "all-new dynamic combat system" that evidently lets players manipulate time and space and plenty of loot drops to keep things interesting. iTech Post also mentions 12 superhero classes to choose from: Assassin, Blaster, Brutalist, Commander, Cyborg, Elementalist, Gadgeteer, Karate Kid, Mystic, Netherborn, and Psychic.

'South Park: The Fractured But Whole' is the sequel to 'South Park: The Stick of Truth,' and is now available for pre-order. The game instalments, like the TV series, is created, written, voiced, and directed by Trey Parker and Matt Stone.
