‘The Blacklist’ Season 4 Episode 13 Recap: Isabella Stone and Her Boss!
Rommel"The Blacklist" truly engages one to think about what would happen next and the reason for why Reddington has been scared all the time was finally revealed. It does not take a lot of effort to find out why Red is so intimidated after all. She is perceived to be the villain, ruining other people's lives. She gets to identify a person's strengths and weaknesses, ultimately infiltrating the whole world. Her path to destruction is something we do not see that often on our screens. In several cases, she does so by knowing more about what irritates people, studying their past to discredit and shame them. Then, there is part of her with killer instinct, she just figures out how to kill a person.
"The Blacklist" Season 4 Episode 13 revolves around Reddington's current situation when one of his couriers were killed overseas. Although he knows she was coming so he prepared for her arrival but the clock is ticking. Red is no athlete so winning battles is not his cup of tea. His bread and butter is through his smarts and cunning ways. What Red got this episode are loyal people whom he touched lives in the past. However, he learned that this case is far from over and so much bigger than what he can see right now.
Melora Hardin played her character, Stone, so well, presenting a darker side of herself. James Spader was polished as ever but his performance seems so good that it feels like his acting is taken for granted most of the time. Fortunately for Red, Liz and FBI assisted them to find Stone and arrest her before causing any damage. That is a success but still, no indication that it is over. Red's problem ensues. Isabella declined to reveal who hired her but it was obvious someone actually did; someone is silencing her - Red, who was revealed to have kidnapped her in the closing minutes of the episode.
After hearing about the plane crash, Tom searched for his family. Mr. Keen becomes more observant and dug on his family history. Tom isn't letting this one go. Stone as a villain for this episode worked wonders as she proved essential catalyst with Red's position before and now. The episode has just ample time for Tom, which is good since we all know a spin-off coming. Here is what to expect for the next episode:
