"Scandal" latest episode revealed a murderer have confessed the assassination of Frankie last Thursday. However, this does not end all the investigations. In one of the flashbacks this episode, it was found out that Cyrus and Frankie had a fight which was recorded, but it happened only when the late president-elect found out that his running mate was the one who attacked an employee of his who served in the campaign, one bright, lovely woman identified as Jenny Jennifer.

"Scandal" has established that Cyrus may be the mastermind of everything but he does not do the dirty work. The episode also saw Cyrus boning Tom behind his partner, Michael's back, in the flashback. Olivia insisted to go on with Fitz offering Cyrus a deal to drop out of running for presidency so Mellie can assume office - and then, Fitz will end the murder investigation for Frankie. Had Cyrus accepted it, Tom's fury may have been avoided and he would have not confessed killing Frankie on Cyrus' order.

With the way the things are going, Mellie will be the president soon, as revealed by Tony Goldwyn. However, he thinks that everything in "Scandal" isn't what it seems so expect some surprises that will really make the fans' jaws drop. This issue is far from being resolved. Goldwyn admits he was surprised with the confession but feels like it was a fantastic storyline which Shonda Rhimes and their writers were able to come up with.

According to Goldwyn, the evidences to Tom's confession does not really persuade at all. It seems like there is more to it than what was being said. He said that for Fitz, "the pressure of not leaving a leadership vacuum is really serious. He's got to make a decision, even if there's no easy, correct answer. He can't waffle back and forth, because the country could end up in even more serious trouble." What will happen next? Find out more about "Scandal" here:
