"Mass Effect: Andromeda" is releasing on March 21 for PC, Xbox One and PS4 and fans are elated as new details about the game have been revealed, and they are pretty interesting! Among other things, it has been revealed that the galaxy/space map will be more 3D than 2D. Moreover, the story missions will not be of an open world nature but focus on specific arenas instead. BioWare's Michael Gamble got candid about the gameplay and stated that the story won't barrel towards certain doom but will be more "casual" and "optimistic."

According to Gaming Bolt, Gamble said that this time, "Mass Effect: Andromeda," won't have any overarching threat, such as the Reapers in the original trilogy. Moreover, the story will not only be about the cast, but it will be about settling, survival and about the locals. Loyalties will focus on these. Most of the focus will be on a new galaxy and its inhabitants. There will also be certain things on the game that players will have no control on. Everybody does not arrive at the same time. Recently, it was reported by PC Gamer that "Mass Effect: Andromeda" will benefit a lot from a revamped side-quest system as it will provide a major gameplay boost. BioWare has confirmed that beta registrations (multiplayer tech test) have closed. Starting March 16, EA/Origin access members will be able to play 10 hours of the game, including multiplayer mode, through early access. The beta release date is expected to be announced soon. With only five weeks left for the game to release, it is up to BioWare to decide when to release the beta and what kind of feedback it is looking for.

In terms of building alternate missions, the "Mass Effect: Andromeda" development team got a lot of pointers from "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt." Moreover, feedback from "Dragon Age: Inquisition" also helped a lot in building the side-quest system. Stay tuned on Mobile & Apps for more updates on "Mass Effect: Andromeda."
