Samsung Chromebook Plus Is Now Available At Amazon, Google Store, Best Buy, Newegg And Samsung!
Cris Xander JulianoSamsung has kept its promise to release the Chromebook Plus in February as the device is now available at multiple retail sites including Amazon, Google Store, Best Buy, Newegg and Samsung's own website. Android Authority has cited that the device will cost $449.
The Chromebook Plus is actually one of two Chromebooks that were unveiled by Samsung during the Consumer Electronic Show 2017, the other one is the Chromebook Pro. The availability of the latter has not been announced as of this time.
The most attractive feature of the Chromebook Plus compared to other devices is the Google Play Store support right out of the box. Similar devices don't have this feature yet although some are getting the support from updates.
The Chromebook Plus has an ARM-based hexa-core OP1 processor under its hood with 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage. It also sports a 12.3-inch 2400x1600 resolution display that rotates 360-degrees. The device also features the Samsung stylus.
In terms of its design, the Chromebook Plus has an all metal build that gives it a premium look while being extremely light at only 2.38 lbs. and just 13.9 mm thin. This gives the device high portability and can easily fit inside your backpack.
If you prefer the better version of Samsung, the Chromebook Pro, you will just have to wait for further announcement by the company as there is no information regarding the device including its price. The Pro is reportedly going to be powered by an Intel Core M3 chip.
You can order your Chromebook Plus at these retail stores: Amazon, Google Store, Best Buy, Newweg, and Samsung.
If you encounter the websites that indicate the device to be "out of stock," you can still purchase the same and the retail store will deliver it to you as soon as the device becomes available.
