BGR reported that Beats by Dr. Dre has introduced its wireless earbuds dubbed as BeatsX. It uses the W1 wireless chip technology which Apple also utilized for its AirPods. Pairing the device to smartphones or other gadgets is said to be fast and easy.
Discussing more about the BeatsX, the same report indicated that the wireless earbuds are connected to each other using a wire but uses a Bluetooth technology to connect to smartphones or other devices playing music. It also has a microphone and other needed controls for listening to music.

A separate BGR review indicated that the $150 price tag of the BeatsX is already cheap because it already has the same internal makeup as the Apple AirPods. Users said that they also feel good on the ear when used and comes with various colors such as blue, black, white and grey.
In terms of sound quality, the BeatsX is lauded for its good performance though reports indicate that it can still do better. The music and sounds appear accurate and clean bur loud sounds and cymbals could hurt the ear.

On the other hand, the Apple AirPods features an instant connectivity feature for the iPhone7 and iPhone 7 Plus. Users can also easily see the remaining battery life for their device. They also have a good fit on the ears and produces great sound quality.
CNET highlighted that the Apple AirPods is a true example of a wireless earphone since you can't see dangling cables connecting even both left and right earpieace. The case of the Apple accessory also serves as its charging dock.
The Apple AirPods can also charge fast giving users 5 hours of battery life for only 5 minutes of charging. They can be purchased for $159.
