'Final Fantasy XV' Joins GDC 2017 As Trailer Launches; Devs To Talk About 'Epic And Interactive' Music
Nicole T."Final Fantasy XV" developers are expected to join in this year's Game Developers Conference or GDC. There, the developers will talk about details of "FFXV," with one of the main topics as the "epic and interactive" music of the game. In fact, the game has released a trailer for that matter.
"Final Fantasy" series has always had its fair share of memorable background music. Players could most likely remember the victory music once a battle is won. Even the Chocobo's themes have become familiar to players. However, "Final Fantasy XV" music can be described as epic.
So, how did the developers create such an engaging and interactive music for "Final Fantasy XV?" Sho Iwamoto, Square Enix's Audio Programmer will be spilling the beans. According to Mobipicker, he will be in "FFXV's" panel in GDC 2017. There, he will likely talk about how they created the actual music data as well as the issues they had to face.
Siliconera reported that Square Enix has created an intelligent music system that they used for "Final Fantasy XV." They called this "MAGI" and it allows composers to create music in any tempo and measurement. It also has customised sync points to make it more interactive.
To give a glimpse to fans about what they could expect on this matter, a "Final Fantasy XV" GDC 2017 trailer was released. Sho Iwamoto will be at GDC 2017 on March 3, 2017. The Game Developers Conference 2017 will be held at Moscone Center, San Francisco, CA. It will start on February 27 and run until March 3.
Apart from "Final Fantasy XV," other games developers will also make an appearance in GDC 2017. Some of the confirmed guests are developers of "Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" and "Nioh," visual effects artists of different companies such as Blizzard and Riot and more.
