Premium Hot Wheels DLC Steering To ‘Rocket League’ This February [VIDEO]
Pia MerciPsyonix, the developer for "Rocket League," has revealed the soccer-meets-racing game was reportedly in-line to have its very own range of toy cars. Now, Hot Wheels are being announced to enter the digital cage via two premium DLC packs, which are expected to land later this February.
Both the "Bone Shaker" and "Twin Mill III" die-cast cars are supposedly making their way to "Rocket League" in February 21. It is said to come with exclusive wheels and six decals for $1.99, according to a post on the game's official site.
Moreover, players will be given additional bonuses, which will be available although they do not purchase the Hot Wheels DLC. Players are expected to find a free Hot Wheels Antenna and Topper, "Shark Bite" Topper and "Treasure Hunt" flag, which are going to be random post-match drops in the future update, PCGamer reported.
"Rocket League" is a vehicular soccer video game developed and published by Psyonix. The game was first released back in July 2015 for Windows and PlayStation 4. It then became available for Xbox One and other platforms in 2016. It is said to be described as soccer, but with rocket-powered cars.
The gameplay of "Rocket League" largely resembles that of its predecessor "Supersonic Acrobat Rocket-Powered Battle Cars." Players get to control a rocket-powered car to hit a ball that is expectedly much bigger than the cars. The game has one to four players assigned to each of the two teams to push the said ball into their enemy's goal and score points.
This soccer-meets-racing game players also has the ability to jump to hit the ball even while in mid-air. It is an arena-based, futuristic vehicle sports game that will test players' driving and stunting skills like never before.
