The Nokia's new and first android phone, the Nokia 6, was released on Jan. 8, 2017 exclusively for the Chinese market. And since this new phone hasn't been released outside China, many tech fanatics are curious about the device's performance.

The new Nokia 6 Android smartphone will compete with the latest leading high-end handset devices. It comes with a Qualcomm MSM8937 Snapdragon 430 chipset, Octa-core 1.4 GHz Cortex-A53 CPU, Adreno 505 GPU and is powered by Android 7.0 Nougat.

Internal memory is quite impressive with a massive size of 64GB and a RAM with 4GB memory. The Nokia 6 doesn't have a specific microSD card slot so it uses the slot for its second micro SIM.

For the body and display, it has a 5.5-inch multi-touch screen with 1080x1920 pixels resolution covered and protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. With its good display quality, the camera is deemed to be average compared to other high-end smartphones. It boasts of a 16MP and 8MP primary and secondary camera that features geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, panorama, HDR and 1080p at 30fps video support.

Nokia is known for long lasting battery life, and in the new Nokia 6 android phone could continue this legacy by using a Li-Ion 3000 mAh non-removable battery that lasts for a good number of hours on standby mode. Despite of its efficiency and long battery life, the Nokia 6 will also have a fast charging technology.

Other features included in the Nokia 6 are fingerprint sensor, and a built-in photo and video editor program. No announcement has been made about the new android phone's release, but it is expected to be launched this year at $378.
