The "Resident Evil 7" Daughters DLC has two endings, the bad ending and the true ending. The ending totally depends on the actions a player takes while playing the game. The Daughters segment of Banned Footage Vol. 2 is about the events that occurred on the night the Baker family turned. As already mentioned, a player's actions define the DLC's ending. In order to get the bad ending, a player needs to go to the Laundry Room across the hallway and collect the Change of Clothes from the bench.

According to Games Radar, the "Resident Evil 7" Daughters DLC player next has to go upstairs to the Kid's Room and give clothes to the girl. Downstairs, he will find Lucas in the Dining Area. He will have to go upstairs again to the Bathroom where he will find Marguerite. Next the player needs to get the rope, available downstairs at the garage and then return to Jack and Marguerite in Bathroom. The player has to take refuge in the Recreation Room by closing the door and using the door to secure it.

The "Resident Evil 7" Daughters DLC player next needs to collect the fork from the side room and use it on the two nails holding a board across the window before exiting through the window and on to the Verandah. Pull away the board at the end and go through the door to the Main Hall. Then he has to sneak past Marguerite, unlock the double doors, leading back to the Main House hallway, receive Car Key, go back to the Laundry Room and drop into the crawl space. The player needs to go to the pantry, sneak through the Kitchen/Dining Area and into the Garage.

Next, the player needs to get into the car and start it. Eveline appears and that the bad ending. According to Kotaku, series producer Masachika Kawata has revealed how the developer team made "Resident Evil 7" so scary.

"We felt that a switch to first person perspective would heighten the immersion and bring the player closer to this horror, making everything feel more personal," he said.
