‘Resident Evil 7’ ‘Bedroom Episode’ DLC Is A Uniquely New Take On Escape-The-Room Genre; It Gives The Chills
Ritwik Roy"Resident Evil 7" has been praised consistently for its radical departure from the franchise's earlier games and now it has been revealed that the game's mysteries will be unveiled via the DLC. With the "Bedroom Episode" DLC, the game goes from weird to bizarre, raising more questions than answering. "Resident Evil 7" has a closed setting, made for short gameplay time - 10-15 hours max. There's a load of new lore and DLC for fans to keep enjoying the game. The "Bedroom Episode" DLC features some of the best and most-enjoyable parts of the game.
According to Video Games Republic, the "Resident Evil 7" "Bedroom Episode" DLC provides great insights into the minds of the Baker family. Players who have completed the game should go for this DLC as it's a must have. The "Bedroom" is one of two "tapes" that can be played with the game's "Banned Footage Vol 1" DLC. The game has a series of banned footages, all coming from victims of the Baker family throughout the years. The DLC follows the story of cameraman Clancy's attempts to break free from the room he is trapped in.
According to Polygon, the "Resident Evil 7" "Bedroom Episode" DLC provides all the scares and unique escape-the-room puzzle the game is known for. The game also follows the caretaker of the Baker mansion, Marguerite Baker. Clancy and Marguerite are central characters in the first-person puzzle DLC. As steps taken to break free from the room sound an alarm, players need to be extremely cautious and remember every "safe" step before getting caught. The DLC opens with Clancy finding himself in bed and Marguerite feeding him "soup."
The "Resident Evil 7" "Bedroom Episode" DLC players have only 30 seconds to put the room back together. This is because, in case Marguerite finds out something in the room has been moved or rearranged, that would mean THE END for Clancy and the players. The "Bedroom Episode" DLC is a uniquely new take on escape-the-room genre as players have to both solve and return the puzzle. Stay tuned on Mobile & Apps for more updates on "Resident Evil 7" and its DLCs.
