Keisuke Akio"Rocket League" will have a PS4 Pro update on February 21. This will bring Hot Wheels premium DLC cars and bug fixes, among others.
Psyonix, the developer behind the popular game "Rocket League," has announced that its adrenaline-fueled car soccer game will soon receive a PlayStation 4 Pro update. Aside from boosting the performance of "Rocket League" to 4K on PlayStation 4 Pro, it will also enhance the game running on standard PlayStation 4 models to 1080p.
"Rocket League" will also run at 60 frames-per-second in all arenas. The same goes for one-player and two-player splitscreen alongside this update across all PlayStation 4 models. For those who play three- or four-player splitscreen, the 60 frames-per-second mark will still be met on most arenas at the same resolution based on which PS4 model you are playing on, explains PlayStation.
"Rocket League" will have the Hot Wheels coming on February 21. The developers transformed two of the most legendary models into Battle-Cars. Soon, Twin Mill III and Bone Shaker will be rocket-powered and ready for Beckwith Park and every other Arena.
These items, however, will be sold separately. Additional free Hot Wheels-themed post-match item drops, including both Toppers and Antennas, will also be available. Moreover, they will come with exclusive wheels and six decals for $1.99 USD.
There will also be a new fan-voted Player's Choice crate filled with several community favorite items with the “Rocket League” update. It will feature the fan-vote winning item and numerous technical fixes and improvements. There will be PS4-specific technical improvements. The update will also bring multiple performance optimizations and bug fixes.
