The company behind "GTA 5" has not officially announced a sequel to the long-running franchise. However, an interview with BallerStatus might have revealed juicy information. According to DJ Whoo Kid, Liberty City might be the next location for "GTA 6."
In his interview, the DJ told correspondents that he will be appearing in the next "Grand Theft Auto" game. He stated that he is about to be in the new game "that takes place in New York."
Liberty City is the game's fictional version of New York City. According to many fans, this is a clear sign that "GTA 6" is coming back to the bustling virtual metropolis.
As believable as this sounds, "GTA V" will also be bringing back Liberty City to its borders. DJ Whoo Kid might be referring to the upcoming expansion DLC; the one developed by the OpenIV team led by software engineer Yuriy Krivouchko.
