‘Bones’ Happy Ending Speculated? FOX Series, to be Shot in Newfoundland [UPDATES]
Rommel"Bones" Canadian fans and viewers are in for a treat as the next episode of the FOX Network series as it is going to be shot in a place much closer to their homes. This being the case, the setting may be all too familiar to the Canadian audience when the next episode is released next week.
"Bones" Final Chapter production team is reported to have hired Newfoundland and Labrador Company Wavelight Productions in order to shoot some scenes in several locations in the Avalon Peninsula of the said province last September. The shots that were obtained from this will be featured in the next episode of “Bones” which, in turn, is set for release on February 21 of this year. Is this also an indication of a "Bones" happy ending?
The episode entitled, “The Grief and the Girl,” will showcase shots of Harbour Drive and Gower Street in St. John's, Bay Bulls, Cape Broyle, Logy Bay, Middle Cove, and Pouch Cove.
Before shooting scenes in Newfoundland, the producers of the show claimed that they a “ton of research” before proceeding to the said location. Wavelight general manager and producer, Kelly Collin, said that the company’s involvement was conceived when she received a call from the show’s executive producer. “He thought it sounded like a really interesting place, so he decided to set the episode here,” she said. The use of drone and regular video will surely capture the beauty and panoramic views that Newfoundland has to offer.
Meanwhile, one of the showrunners, Michael Peterson, have hinted on what could be the possible ending of the show. After twelve seasons, the show will be coming to an end. A lot of fans, of course, wants a "Bones" happy ending. He said:
After watching 67 episodes, my wife asked if Hart [Hanson] was a hippie, because everything worked out. [When] Wendell slept with Angela, Hodgins got along with Wendell by the end of the episode. Things work out. Hart's very much a 'people ride off into the sunset' kind of guy, he's an optimist, and we wanted to infuse that into the finale. We wanted to have them go through hell, but at the end, we want them to ride off.
According to TVLine, this is an indication that the twelve-year run will end on a high note. However, Brennan and Booth's relationship will definitely face a lot of tougher challenges in between the present episode and the finale of the show. All of these will really take their fans on a ride that hopefully ends well for all. Watch the promo for the next episode here and find out if it matches the plot on the way to a "Bones" happy ending:
