"Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" will be released on March 3 alongside Nintendo's hybrid console, Nintendo Switch. Two weeks before the imminent release, a few screenshots have been revealed showing what fans can expect.

This new "Legend of Zelda" title is unlike any other of its predecessors. For one, it's in full 3D. It's also an open-world exploration game, making it possible to visit every nook and cranny of Hyrule. Apart from that, various changes to the gameplay have been made such as Link's ability to cook and also taming wild horses.

Although fans already have an inkling as to what they could expect from "Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild," a few more screenshots have been released. These shows different areas in Hyrule and different activities such as cooking, battling creatures and mountain climbing.

According to TechnoBuffalo, "Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" will feature paid DLC. That being said, there will be new adventures that await fans once the game is released and again, that is a new thing for the franchise.

"Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" will also be released for Wii U. Previously, franchise producer Eiji Aonuma has hinted the possibility of a 2D "Legend of Zelda" title on Switch.

Apart from "Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild," another piece is already out from the franchise. The "Legend of Zelda: Arts & Artifacts" is a book which contains illustrations that were used for the famous Nintendo franchise.

According to Siliconera, fans can expect 400 pages of box art, rare promotional pieces and official character art. There are also interviews with various artists who contributed to the series.

The said book has already been released yesterday, February 21. For those who want to take a sneak peek of the book, Youtuber JSkeleton has an "early look" video.
