2017 has started off as a bittersweet year for the Xbox gamers. "Scalebound" was canceled by Microsoft- a big disappointment for everyone. However, Microsoft is making up for these mistakes by giving more information about the upcoming games. "Crackdown 3" is set to be launched sometime this year by Microsoft and is expected to be a huge game changer, quite literally!

The upcoming game titles for Xbox One include "State of Decay 2" and "Sea of Thieves". "Crackdown 3" has had its fair share of confusions and apprehensions but recent news suggests that the game is being developed as planned. Gamers have been persistently asking about the possible release date of "Crackdown 3". Microsoft has only recently become vocal about the contents of the game and about the possible release date.

"If you remember how great the original Crackdowns were, with the big, open cities and as you leveled up, your cars and weapons leveled up, imagine that times 10. "Crackdown 3" is all about the boom. It is a massive futuristic city. The players have smarter enemies, more vehicles, and new weapons. The explosions and the destruction (make it) an incredible experience. The game is coming this year," said Shannon Loftis, GM of Microsoft Studios, in a recent video.

This has made gamers quite happy- "Crackdown 3" is definitely being released this year itself. With a 2017 release, players can also get their hands on the multiplayer beta version of "Crackdown 3". The "Crackdown 3" game will be officially announced at the E3 2017 event unless Microsoft decides to conduct an exclusive event for the launch of Xbox Project Scorpio.
