Another Square Enix game is headed to Nintendo Switch and Sony PlayStation 4. The video game developer has just announced that "Dragon Quest X" will be heading to Sony and Nintendo's newest video game consoles.

"Dragon Quest X" is the first online-only MMORPG of the video game franchise. The game was first released for the Wii on Aug. 12, 2012. The game was then ported on the Nintendo Wii U and Windows PC the following year.

"Dragon Quest X" cloud streamed versions were also released for Nintendo 3DS, Android and IOS. The mobile version was released in 2013 while the Nintendo 3DS version was released in 2014.

The game allows players to customize their own characters and explore the "Dragon Quest X" world of Astoltia to complete quests and battle monsters. In the game, players will start out as humans but are then transferred into the body of one of the five "Dragon Quest X" tribes.

The five tribes in "Dragon Quest X" are Ogre, Puklipo, Weddie, Elves and Dwarfs. Each tribe has something different to offer and are masters of their own skills. A sixth tribe, the Dragon race, was added in the later versions of the game.

In the recent announcement made by Square Enix via Hachima, the video game developer and publisher has confirmed the reports that it will end all services for the Wii version of the game.
