Nintendo Switch Virtual Console Will Not Be Launched On March 3
JPThe Nintendo Switch virtual console will not be available on its March 3 official release date. This has been confirmed by the video game company in its recent press release.
With just a few days before the March 3 Nintendo Switch release date, video game fans are already itching to get a hold of the new hybrid game console. So far, 61 video game titles are confirmed to be released for the Switch this year.
Though Nintendo video game fans will have 11 games to play when the Nintendo Switch is released on March 3, fans are still demanding for more. This is why the recent news that the Nintendo Switch virtual console will not be launched on the same day that the Switch will be released for shipment came as a huge disappointment for fans.
The Nintendo virtual console is the video game company's emulation service. The virtual console allows video game fans to play old video game titles using newer video game consoles. This gives Nintendo fans the chance to play games as far back as the Nintendo Entertainment System.
With the Nintendo Switch virtual console not launching on March 3, video game fans will have to wait to play NES and SNES games in the hybrid console. There are also reports that the Nintendo emulation service will also allow video game fans play games from the GameCube.
Nintendo is yet to release any details as to when the virtual console will be launched. However, there are reports that the Nintendo Switch feature will be a part of the Nintendo Switch paid online subscription.
Nintendo Switch virtual console details may not be released until after the hybrid video game console is shipped on March 3. Meanwhile, the video game company is scheduled to host a Nindies Showcase event that will feature the Indie games that are headed to Switch.
