iPhone 8 Latest News: Tech Giant Tailing Samsung's Direction? Flagship Phone Render Reveals Rear Mounted Touch ID Button
Keisuke AkioA recent iPhone 8 render reveals that the flagship device will sport a vertical dual-camera. In addition, it would have a rear-mounted Touch ID button, which purported several analysts to think the Cupertino-based tech giant is trailing Samsung's direction.
Apple's latest flagship phone is said to have a vertical dual camera, these specs are already featured in iPhone 7S. The upcoming iPhone 8 will also have a rear-mounted touch ID button. The previous iPhone render showed some optic upgrades and a wider screen, however, a new render came out showing its renowned home button, says 9to5 mac.
It was also obvious to be present in the least expected location. Surprisingly, the home button is mounted at the back of the device, which is kind of unusual. Though, the tech giant is known to explore on various prototypes and then decide what could be a hit to the iPhone consumers. Some analyst said that this particular prototype will not probably be chosen and their prediction, the Touch ID sensor will be placed beneath the display. Doing this might also increase the screen size, reported Mac Rumours.
According to Wccftech, the leaks further points the iPhone render, stating that it has indeed a dual camera system that is positioned in a vertical position. Having this feature, it will provide the user to maximize the potential of the optical zoom, done by the secondary lens, while capturing with a shallow depth of field from the primary lens. iPhone 8 users will also have their own choice of display when upgrading because Apple made the device's screen to body ratio extremely high.
iPhone 7 and iPhone 7Plus has unnecessarily increased size due to the bezels covering the devices. Several speculations point out that the iPhone 8 is expected to have a bezel-free form just like Samsung Galaxy S8 and LG G6.
