With a freshly released teaser for Season 14, "World of Wonders," which promises plenty of surprises for trainers everywhere, the "Pokémon GO" community is buzzing. The creator of the popular mobile augmented reality game, Niantic, references adding new Ultra Beasts and emphasizing the Kanto region, bringing back memories of the first Pokémon journey.

The Enigmatic World of Ultra Beasts

This season will characterize the age of mysteries, with the Ultra Beasts, particular Pokemon originating from the Ultra Space, as the main subject. These strange Pokémon were first captured by players in the games titled Pokémon Sun and Moon of Generation 7. It was their first taste where they felt the various attractions of Pokémon players, as it is one of four Indigo-type Pokémon that were introduced precisely six years ago.

Previously, Nihilego, Pheromosa, Buzzwole, Xurkitree, Celesteela, Kartana, and Guzzlord appeared in "Pokémon GO" as Ultra Beasts. In addition, four of the Ultra Beasts, namely, Poipole, Naganadel, Stakataka, and Blacephalon, remain unadded to the list.

As for artifact collecting, the visual hints in Season 14 confirm their approach; it is more exciting for the trainers to extend the collection.

Season 14: A Journey Beyond Imagination

From March 1, 2024, to June 1, 2024, Season 14 has exciting events that hold out a captivating and dramatic journey into the unknown. Niantic has released a snippet that shows a "Pokémon GO" player going hand in hand with Nidoran.

In this snippet, this "Pokémon GO" player is known to go around Gym encounters Pokémon, like Butterfree, Pidgeotto, Pidgeot, and Dragonite, all famous iconic generation-one Pokémon. The Teaser ends with an ultraviolet spotlight centered on a cybernetic turntable hinting at the appearance of Ultra Beasts.

With a nod to the Kanto region in the Teaser, speculation arises about whether Season 14 will focus on Generation 1 Pokémon. While the Teaser showcases familiar Kanto faces, trainers remain eager to see how the events unfold and if the spotlight returns to the region where it all began.

The Unseen Beasts Await

The anticipation grows as Season 14 promises the inclusion of the remaining four Ultra Beasts. Poipole, with its unique ability to evolve, adds an intriguing element to the upcoming season. Trainers wonder how this evolutionary aspect will be incorporated into the "Pokémon GO" experience.

Expect  these Ultra Beasts this season:

  • Poipole: A small, jellyfish-like Ultra Beast capable of evolving into Naganadel. Its ability to absorb electricity sets it apart.
  • Naganadel: The evolved form of Poipole, a large, serpentine Ultra Beast with a potent poison-type attack.
  •  Stakataka: A rock-type Ultra Beast resembling a stack of stone blocks, known for its exceptional durability.
  •  Blacephalon: A fire-type Ultra Beast with a jester-like appearance, possessing the ability to create illusions and explode for massive damage.
