Vivo, Xiaomi, and Oppo to Embrace 5.5G Technology

The integration of 5.5G connectivity into Vivo's flagship devices will be facilitated through an OTA (Over-The-Air) update scheduled to roll out starting in April. This update promises to significantly boost network speeds, with Vivo claiming up to a 300% increase in download and upload speeds compared to current standards.
Han Boxiao, Vivo's product manager, gave a preview of the remarkable network speeds that the Vivo X100 Pro can attain, which are as high as 3619.19 Mbps for downloads and 160.75 Mbps for uploads. These findings highlight how 5.5G technology revolutionizes smartphone connectivity and opens the door to smooth multimedia streaming, quicker download times, and improved user interfaces.
