Samsung's Galaxy Note 2 has been garnering laurels since its release, and the phablet has already notched up over 3 million unit sales worldwide in just a little over a month. And now, AT&T customers can pick up the phablet on a new two-year contract.
Earlier in October, the U.S. carrier had indicated in a press release that "Beginning Nov. 9 customers interested in picking up a Samsung Galaxy Note® II will be able to purchase one for $299.99 with a two-year agreement in all AT&T* stores and online." Additionally, AT&T customers had the option to place a pre-order from Oct. 25.
With AT&T's version of the Galaxy Note 2 hitting the shelves, Verizon is the only remaining U.S. carrier and is expected to ship the device from Nov. 27.
AT&T's Galaxy Note 2 is available for $299.99 on a two-year contract. The carrier is offering the smartphone in two colors: Marble White and Titanium Gray. Alternately, a no commitment version of the Galaxy Note 2 will set users back by $649. However, the Galaxy Note 2 may come across as slightly steep when compared to the Nexus 4, which is available for the same price - unlocked at that.
Additionally, yet another Samsung offering - the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 - is now also available on AT&T. The tablet is being offered for $399.99 on a two-year contract and the regular price is listed at $499.99. However, the 10-inch Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 may have to fight off stiff competition from another Samsung-made tablet i.e. the Nexus 10.
However, currently, both the Galaxy Note 2 and Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 are listed as "due today" on the carrier's Web site.
