Popular headphones and speaker systems maker Polk Audio has announced a new line of headphones designed specifically for use with Android devices.
Polk Audio has been building a solid reputation since 1972, offering quality home and automobile speakers. Some four decades later, the company is adjusting to current times and continues to make waves with its range of audio products.

The new headphones models are part of the company's UltraFit line, and are listed with an "a" in the model name to highlight their functionality. The UltraFit 1000a, 2000a, and 3000a are available starting with a $70 price tag.
The three new "a" versions of the UltraFit in-ear headphones mark Polk Audio's first offerings specifically designed for use with Android devices.
The $69.95 UltraFit 1000a sports an in-line three-button remote control and microphone, as well as two tangle-free, planar audio cables with a standard 3.5-mm connector. This model is available in black/red or white/gray color schemes, and includes a 14-inch cable, a vented protective case, and three pairs of StayFit silicone tips.
The UltraFit 2000a model comes with the same $69.95 price tag as the 1000a and features the same controls. The difference is that the 1000a is an in-ear model, while the 2000a is an over-the ear model. The 1000a sports in-line controls and microphone, while the 2000a has on-ear controls and microphone. The 2000a model also comes with a tangle-free planar cable, "airframe" design, and reflective wrap-around headband. It is available in black/red and white/orange color options, and includes a zippered protective case, one pair of silicone ear pads, two pairs of foam ear pads, and one pair of cold-weather ear pads.
The UltraFit 3000a, meanwhile, comes with a $99 price tag, and offers two tangle-free planar cables, as well as an extra-long 41-inch cable in addition to the 14-inch cable. This model is also available in black/red, white/gray, and white/orange color schemes, and comes with a zippered, vented protective case, three pairs of StayFit silicone tops, two pairs of StayFit three-flange silicone tips, and three pairs of memory foam tips.
"The UltraFit 3000a is the most extreme high performance sports headphone system ever," touts Polk Audio.
