Google is all set to provide a host of cool offers and deals as the holiday season sets in. Per reports, Google has now revealed the Google Play Surprise Calendar Countdown for users to make the most out of Christmas.

The new offers are the latest offerings from Google after last December when users saw Google offer some great deals via the then-Android-Market as part of its 10 Billions Apps celebration. At the time, with a bunch of great titles pinned down to just 10 cents each, the offers as well as the savings were almost too much to pass up.

Now although that app sales milestone seems to be a thing of the past, Google is once again trying to run some new deals this year, with the company unveiling the start of its surprise calendar countdown.

The countdown will run from Dec. 18 through Jan. 1, with a host of new one-day-deals every day. The deal for Dec. 18 is a $35 booking credit for use with the Hotel Tonight app, but if that, somehow, fails to strike a chord, there is still the option of several more days of savings, and preferable deals on desired apps are bound happen sooner or later.

It is also expected that Google will run the range of its Play Store offerings, with future deals even covering fun offerings on apps, movies, TV, books, and all. Although nobody is quite sure if any of these promotions will extend to hardware, or if that’s too much to ask at the moment, it’s not much to expect considering the offers the company has the potential to provide to its users.

The current offer is in tune with the offers that were released last December when the Android Market started giving discounts down to 10 cents per apps on selected apps on account of its 10 Billions Apps celebration. At the time, the selected apps included Asphalt 6, Paper Camera, SwiftKey, Fieldrunners HD, Minecraft, Great Little War Game, Sound Hound, and more.

Remember to keep checking with Google to see the latest deals that will be popping up every day, as this is a good chance yet again to get hands on a few desired apps.
