Today Apple released iOS 6.0.2 for the iPhone 5 and the iPad mini. In the change log, Apple lists the update contains improvements and bug fixes, including fixing a bug that could impact Wi-Fi.
Many iPhone 5 and iPad mini owners have been posting on Apple's support forums that they have been having issues related to Wi-Fi. Some users reported that iTunes was no longer recognizing their iPhone 5 and iPad mini when they would try to do a Wi-Fi sync. The only solution that seemed to fix the issue was restarting the device that iTunes was installed on. After the restart, the iPhone 5 and iPad mini would almost always show up under devices and the user would be able to sync again via Wi-Fi.
