Sprint is still in the holiday mood and has an ongoing deal up for grabs that will entice consumers looking to lay their hands on new mobile devices. The U.S. carrier is currently offering a discount of $100 on any 4G LTE-capable tablet for all new customers in the U.S. who will purchase a new smartphone (on-contract).
The Sprint deal began on Dec. 27, 2012, and will continue till Jan. 10, 2013. The "save $100 instantly" offer is ideal for consumers who are looking to buy both a new smartphone and tablet.
"When you buy any 4G LTE tablet or iPad with any smartphone. Saving is easy!" notes Sprint.
The carrier further notes that they have waived off the $100 in the tablets listed on its site.
The offer is valid for most of the phones Sprint retails on a two-year contract, including any device it offers for free. The smartphones eligible for the promo include popular handsets like the Samsung Galaxy Note 2, Samsung Galaxy S3, and LG Optimus G.
The tablets that are discounted and are a part of the promo are: Apple iPad mini (starting at $359.99) and Apple iPad 4 (starting at $529.99). For those who are looking for Android options, Sprint also has the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 and Motorola Xoom Wi-Fi up for grabs for $499.99 and $399.99, respectively.
Sprint started retailing the iPad mini and iPad 4 in November, the same time as Verizon and AT&T. Usually, the iPad mini starts at $459.99 and the iPad 4 for $629.99 on the carrier. Samsung's Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 was also launched by Sprint in November and is normally sold by the carrier for $549.99.
What's more, Sprint still has data plans, which are less than $10 per month, available and, therefore, the promotional offer would be worth taking advantage of.
With not many days left for the promotion to expire, those interested should hurry to a Sprint store and grab their favorite tablet and smartphone ASAP!
