The usage of the smartphone as an infotainment device has increased in the last few years and battery capacity has become one of the key factors when choosing a smartphone. An app called Battery, developed by Lurie Lurceac, claims to improve the battery life of the iPhone.

The battery of an iPhone is not removable and owners cannot change the battery themselves, if required. As such, it may become very important for iPhone users to keep the battery of their iPhones in a good state.

The battery-improving app available for iPhones has a nice user interface (UI), which will give you a number of interesting statistics like how long it will take to fully charge your phone.

The first screen tells you how much time you have left to run a certain task before the battery finishes. If the app tells you that you just have a certain number of minutes left to complete a task, then you know which task should get priority. The app also predicts the number of talk time minutes you have left for a conversation over a 2G or 3G network. This feature comes in handy when you don't have enough battery on your iPhone and are expecting an urgent call.

Besides giving you statistics about the talk and usage times of your iPhone, the app also give you tips and recommendations such as reminding you to turn off Wi-Fi when you are not using it, or telling you that reducing the brightness on the iPhone screen will help enhance battery life.

"Your rechargeable battery has a high fatigability, a low work capacity and uncontrolled power loss? You aren't tired yet to hear the sound of discharged storage battery in the moment, when your device is so needed?" per the description of the app on Apple App Store.

The decline of the battery life of your iPhone is unavoidable, but you can improve it by using the Battery app.

The app is free to download from Apple App store and is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad and requires iOS 5.0 or later.
