Have you been hankering for a new Windows Phone 8 smartphone and scouting for the right deal? Well, you're in luck as per reports, U.S. carrier AT&T has a fantastic deal up for grabs on Windows Phone 8 devices.
The AT&T deal looks to entice consumers with its buy one WP8 phone and get $100 off on the same type of Windows Phone. So, if you buy a Nokia Lumia 920 or HTC 8X you'll get $100 shaved off the second Lumia 920 or HTC 8X.
Per reports, the AT& T deal started on Jan. 11 and will go on till Feb. 21.
"It looks like AT&T want to really put some Windows Phones in customers hands as a new offer evidently has gone live. We just got word that AT&T is offering a new deal to help push Windows Phone 8 devices starting...well yesterday (Jan. 11) and going through February 21st," reported WPCentral.
It is not known if this offer is valid only online or in-store as well. The deal also states that both new smartphone activations (two-year contract) as well as upgrades are eligible for the offer. In the event the second smartphone is cheaper than $100, then it would be free.
What's more, customers can purchase one Nokia or HTC WP8 handset and then later decide if they want a second one, and if this is during the promo period they will still receive the discount.
Additionally, per a Phone Dog report, the offer is valid in store as well; however, the in-store deal omits some offerings.
"A couple of my local AT&T stores confirmed that a deal was going on, but the employees said that the offer was only valid on the 8X, so your mileage may vary if you're hoping to take advantage of this promo in-store," noted Alex Wagner of Phone Dog.
If you've been waiting to buy a WP8 smartphone on AT&T, maybe you should hurry up and take advantage of this offer.
